Lunch with Uni

I had lunch with Uni yesterday. I hadn't seen her in a long time, mostly due to my breakdown over the winter. She's Korean with long dyed blond hair. Always in short-short jeans with a waif's body except for HWP breast implants. We dated briefly when we met in writing class at Hunter. That was when I was returning to the world, interviewing for jobs and I would show up in class looking a bit smoother in a tie. I was going down the escalator after the second class and she tapped me on the shoulder and started a conversation. She was 24. We went out to one of those upper east side Irish sports bars. You know the ones where people scream at the hockey game on the big screen TV if they're sloshed enough. We drank and then we were sitting close and I texted her "I'm going to kiss you." And then kissed her before she got the text. After, she looked at the text and laughed.
